United State Practical Shooting Association (USPSA)

International Defense Pistol Association (IDPA)

The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) is the governing body of a shooting sport that simulates self-defense scenarios and real life encounters. It was founded in 1996 as a response to the desires of shooters worldwide. The organization now boasts membership of more than 17,008, including members in 50 foreign countries.

One of the unique facets of this sport is that it is geared toward the new or average shooter, yet is fun, challenging and rewarding for the experienced shooter. The founders developed the sport so that practical gear and practical guns may be used competitively. An interested person can spend a minimal amount on equipment and still be competitive.

The main goal is to test the skill and ability of the individual, not equipment or gamesmanship. “Competition only” equipment is not permitted in this sport.


Grand Slam Club Ovis (GSCO)

Grand Slam Club/Ovis is an organization of hunter/conservationists dedicated to improving and perpetuating wild sheep and goat populations worldwide. The purposes and objectives of Grand Slam Club/Ovis are to: 

  • Continue to be the established documentation and records-keeping organization for legally-taken Grand Slams of North American wild mountain sheep, Ovis World Slams of wild sheep of the world, and Capra World Slams of wild goats of the world. 
  • Encourage the use of legally issued permits, tags, and/or licenses for the hunting of wild mountain sheep and goats.
  • Inform and educate people of the world about wild mountain sheep and goats.
  • Use financial resources received from membership dues, donations, or fund-raising events to benefit, directly or indirectly, wild mountain sheep and goats by contributing these funds to/through established state, provincial, federal, or governmental game and wildlife agencies or other non-profit wildlife conservation organizations.

With nearly 5,000 members worldwide, Grand Slam Club/Ovis comprises a large percentage of the people interested in wild sheep and goat hunting and conservation.


Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF)

The Elk Foundation’s mission is to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat.  


NRA Whittington Center Adventure Camp

NRA Adventure Camp offers a chance for young men and women to learn about firearms and experience the thrill of tracking and stalking big game, all under the guidance of the most skilled firearms instructors and outdoor specialists in the nation. There is no summer camp experience quite like it in the world.


The Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF)

The Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) is THE conservation organization dedicated to restoring wild sheep populations that dwindled to historical lows in North America in the 1950s and ‘60s.  With private funding from its members and proceeds from an annual convention known as “The Sheep Show®,” the Wild Sheep Foundation and its Chapters and Affiliates actively fund initiatives throughout North America and beyond to accomplish its purpose and mission.  WSF’s overarching strategic goal is to ensure that wild sheep populations and their habitats worldwide are effectively managed, accessible, utilized and supported by interested stakeholders.
