Grand Slam Club/Ovis is an organization of hunter/conservationists dedicated to improving and perpetuating wild sheep and goat populations worldwide. The purposes and objectives of Grand Slam Club/Ovis are to:
Continue to be the established documentation and records-keeping organization for legally-taken Grand Slams of North American wild mountain sheep, Ovis World Slams of wild sheep of the world, and Capra World Slams of wild goats of the world.
Encourage the use of legally issued permits, tags, and/or licenses for the hunting of wild mountain sheep and goats.
Inform and educate people of the world about wild mountain sheep and goats.
Use financial resources received from membership dues, donations, or fund-raising events to benefit, directly or indirectly, wild mountain sheep and goats by contributing these funds to/through established state, provincial, federal, or governmental game and wildlife agencies or other non-profit wildlife conservation organizations.
With nearly 5,000 members worldwide, Grand Slam Club/Ovis comprises a large percentage of the people interested in wild sheep and goat hunting and conservation.
The International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors® is a membership organization which was organized in 1981 by a group of concerned firearms instructors. They recognized the need for a way to update and modernize the instruction and teaching techniques being used to train the majority of law enforcement officers.
The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) is the governing body of a shooting sport that simulates self-defense scenarios and real life encounters. It was founded in 1996 as a response to the desires of shooters worldwide. The organization now boasts membership of more than 17,008, including members in 50 foreign countries.
One of the unique facets of this sport is that it is geared toward the new or average shooter, yet is fun, challenging and rewarding for the experienced shooter. The founders developed the sport so that practical gear and practical guns may be used competitively. An interested person can spend a minimal amount on equipment and still be competitive.
The main goal is to test the skill and ability of the individual, not equipment or gamesmanship. “Competition only” equipment is not permitted in this sport.

The Wild Sheep Foundation's mission is to enhance wild sheep populations, promote professional wildlife management, educate the public about wild sheep and the conservation benefits of hunting, encourage fair chase hunting, and protect sportsmen's rights - while keeping administrative costs to a minimum.
We're proud to announce the coming of a new TV show, called The Hunt. Filming for The Hunt began in August, 2011. This 13 episode series focuses on hunting big game throughout the Western U.S. and Canada with both rifle and bow.
The Hunt will begin airing in July of 2012, on the Sportsman Channel. In addition to serving as host of The Hunt, Scott Haugen will also produce the show. The Hunt will tell a complete story, from beginning to end. Elk and deer will be the stars of The Hunt, with bear, pronghorn and more being highlighted from time to time.
