  • Identify channel promotion needs, develop and implement promotional plan and coordinate brand activities in the channel, including development of internal and external promotional communications for distribution by the Sales team.
  • Catalog and evaluate channel partner demand creation tools, and work with Sales to select opportunities and build assets needed to take advantage of the opportunities. 
  • Build and maintain database of channel partner specifications and details for trade advertising, marketing support, POP elements, etc.
  • Support the Sales team in negotiation of annual programs and preparation for line reviews, business meetings, and marketing updates.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service team to capture all information gathered from channel outbound calling efforts with channel contact database.
  • Coordinate with Sales for CRM information as needed for direct marketing efforts.
  • Support direct marketing efforts to channel partners with content elements, insights, and timely updates.
  • Work with Product and Sales Management on go-to-market strategies for new products.
  • Own development of channel launch kits for new products based on Sales team and customer input, including customized information for key accounts and international customers, as well as a standard launch kit for broad distribution.
  • Provide recommendations on products sold through different channels and work with Sales to develop robust channel forecasts.
  • Assist in managing approved co-op marketing programs in both domestic and international channels.
  • Support efforts to manage customer events, which may include training, retailing, or demand creation activities. 
  • Lead projects involving new POP elements, display stands, etc.
  • Support efforts to create and manage a dealer council program, including dealer council meetings and communications.
  • Share information on competitive activities from the field and act as a voice of the customer for the internal business.
  • Manage access to, and the content within, the channel-related areas of the Trijicon website digital asset management tool. 
  • Manage the parameters of channel-related promotions, which may include spiffs, rebates, point of purchase support, etc., ensuring great communication and execution.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

  • Five to ten years of experience in a channel management, sales administration, direct B2B selling, or a trade marketing role. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Track record of leading a cross-functional team on varied projects.
  • Ability to prioritize and respond effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience utilizing creative thinking to innovate new solutions in a market.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously.
  • Project management and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent writing and math skills.
  • Experience using a CRM system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to travel up to 40%

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding, follow detailed and involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving multiple complex or variable situations.
