Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interpret financial information and make adjustments accordingly.
  • Performs monthly, quarterly and annual budget variance reporting.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and analyze activity.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation and investigate reconciling items.
  • Analyze income statement activity to assure accurate financial results.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
  • Analyze, investigate and pursue the resolution of unmatched or unusual items.
  • Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Two or more years of related work experience.
  • Month-end close processing, including journal entries.
  • Works independently with general supervision.
  • Team Player with Strong ethics and integrity.
  • Excellent quantitative, organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and respond effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills.
  • Performs critical self-reviews of work to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills a plus.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, experience with SAP a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Two or more years of related work experience.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding, follow detailed and uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with complex problems involving a few concrete variables/details in variable situations.
