Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage shipping and receiving personnel and utility associates.
  • Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Manage receiving process within SAP system, and ensure that all products are received and tagged properly
  • Complete all necessary reports as instructed by Operations Manager
  • Ensure daily distribution goals are met for Retail and OEM accounts
  • Assist in completion of web orders
  • Coordinate and conduct Tier level meetings within department
  • Coordinate and conduct weekly departmental safety meetings as directed by Operations manager
  • Enter detailed information for incoming inventory and outgoing UPS, FEDEX, USPS information into computer system
  • Oversee Picking, packing, and confirmation of customer orders with attention to detail
  • Prepare and verify outside processing/ service orders
  • Maintain organization and inventory control of shipping and receiving warehouse
  • Maintain Kanban system for Atlanta supplies and reorder triggers
  • Help cross train production employees on shipping and receiving pick and pack procedures
  • Assist Operations Manager in developing written work instructions for department
  • All aspects of shipping using various shipping companies
  • Work with Trijicon Customer Service
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Operations Manager

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and experience with ERP systems

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding, follow detailed and uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete standardized situations.
